Kim Olson

Kim’s unwavering fascination with aviation has fueled a remarkable journey. With over a decade as a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines, her passion for flight led her to embark on flight training in 2020, completing her ground school at Miramar Community College and now generously tutoring in the aviation department. As an instrument-rated commercial pilot nearing her Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certification, Kim finds immense fulfillment in guiding her peers, including her coworkers, along their aviation paths while eagerly anticipating opportunities to share her boundless love for aviation. Her newfound passion for aerobatics hints at future thrills as she aspires to become an aerobatic competitor and enjoys volunteering for PilotsnPaws. Dreaming big, Kim hopes to establish her own nonprofit, Flying Fur Rescue, one day, combining her love for flight with a passion for animal welfare.
