Jade McMinn’s interest in aviation was ignited by a week spent at the GIFT Academy in Vernon, Texas. After observing other passionate female aviators, she was determined to become a pilot herself. She obtained her private pilots license in 2015, as a senior in high school, and has since completed a bachelor’s degree and instrument rating. Jade is currently completing her commercial license and will begin CFI training spring 2019.

Jade is involved in her local aviation community as a member of the Ninety-Nines and Women in Aviation. Additionally, she has assisted with aviation career days at local elementary schools and provided discovery flights to high school girls. She looks forward to the opportunity to give back to the aviation community as a flight instructor and aspiring airline pilot.
